NATIONAL–The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will be holding its ‘Oplan Kontra Baha’ Summit today, February 5.
MMDA General Manager Nicolas Tore III shared that they will be joined by leading agencies such as the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)
The said event will be held at the Central Office of DPWH where guests include Dr. Guillermo Tabios III of the University of the Philippines and Dr. Alfredo Mahar-Lagmay, executive director for Project NOAH.
The said event is focused on finding a solution for the worsening floods in the Metro Manila Area, where a number of stakeholders and private entities will also be sharing their knowledge regarding the issue.
Meanwhile, Torre hopes that leaders in the Metro Manila area will be able to gain knowledge in avoiding widespread dlooding.
